Summer Academy and FY 2024 Coaches 

In two short years Fencibles has become a leading club in the Boys and Girls TDP space and we are looking for aspiring coaches to help develop our youth players in our Academy and for FY 2024.

2024 will see further expansion of our grounds with a new floodlit artificial turf at Riverhills which will create some of the best training/game facilities in New Zealand.

Requirements

  • Minimum NZF C licence (or overseas equivalent).
  • A passion for youth development and a positive influence on and off the pitch
  • Willingness to learn and challenge convention in player development.
  • Well-organised, good communicator and punctual.
  • Ability to work with a team and in a co-coaching context.
  • Player-centred coaching approach.

Western Springs FC are looking for Qualified Coaches to be part of a new era at the Football Club. We are excited about what the future holds with some changes happening in the Pre Academy (9-12) and Academy (13-17) space. 

Pre - Academy Coaching Positions: (9 - 12 year olds Mixed and Girls)

  • Junior Level 3 qualified
  • Understanding of Junior Football Development
  • Believes in the teaching methods of constraint led games, teaching games for understanding
  • Competent with IT, Google, excel
  • Work as part of a forward thinking team

Academy Coaching Positions: (13 - 17 Mixed and Girls)

  • C Licence qualified as a minimum
  • Understanding of Youth Football Development
  • Believes in the teaching methods of constraint led games, teaching games for understanding
  • Competent with IT, Google, excel
  • Work as part of a forward thinking team
