Criteria for nominating an Honorary or Life member is outlined in our Constitition. 

Appointment of Honorary Members 

• Honorary Members shall be chosen from among players, officials and supporters who have given lengthy service or made major contributions for the support and benefit of the Game within the Federation District.
  
• Honorary Members shall be elected on (and may be removed by) the majority vote of those present and entitled to vote at the AGM.
• Any Member may propose another Member as an Honorary Member and must forward a brief account of the candidate’s service and/or contribution to the Board not later than forty (40) days (or such later date as the Board may allow) before the date for holding the AGM at which the nomination is to be considered. This shall then be forwarded to all the members of the Board for their consideration. The Board may, in its absolute discretion, decide whether or not to recommend the election to the AGM. If recommended, the nomination should be forwarded to Clubs not later than twenty-eight (28) days prior to the AGM (or such later date as the Board may allow).
  
• All Presidents of the District Federation automatically become Honorary Members of the District Federation upon retirement unless removed from office prior to the expiry of their terms.

Appointment of Life Members 

• Life Members shall be persons who have provided outstanding special services or made outstanding contributions to the Game within the Federation District.
  
• Life Members shall be elected on (and may be removed by) the majority vote of those present and entitled to vote at an AGM.
  
• Any Member may propose another Member as a Life Member and must forward a brief account of the candidate’s service and/or contribution to the Board not later than forty (40) days (or such later date as the Board may allow) before the date for holding the AGM at which the nomination is to be considered.
