Auckland City FC are seeking coaches to join our club's successful U-23 team part-time for a variety of roles guided by head coach Valerio Raccuglia.

Auckland City FC U-23 has provided a platform for a thread of young footballers to experience first team action at the club and beyond including Matt Ellis, Will Eng, Brooklyn Heath, Kristoff Muller, Adam Bell and many others.

The U-23 men's team has won the Lotto NRFL U-23 Premier Division two seasons in a row. 

Auckland City FC seeks those interested in the following positions: 

  • Assistant Coach
  • Technical Analyst 

Successful applicants will be exposed to the Auckland City FC FC playing and coaching philosophies as they work with others in a like-minded environment to inspire players to learn, develop and express themselves on the field of play.

Hibiscus Coast AFC, who were recently promoted to play in the newly named Men’s NFRL championship, invite applications for the role of Head Coach for the Men’s NFRL 2023 season and beyond. 

We are ideally looking for someone who has:

• A proven track record as a successful coach at senior level

• Possesses excellent technical and tactical skills

• Proficient people management skills

• Passion for football with a desire to build a successful squad, that sees HBCAFC compete successfully and consistently at the highest level 

Mandatory requirements: 

• Minimum “C”  OFC coaching license  

• Eligible to work in New Zealand 

• Must be accredited on the NZF Coaches Network

• Must have attended a 11+ Injury Prevention Workshop

• Undergo a Police Check

Should the candidates wish to expand this role we are able to increase the portfolio to full-time work based on the applicants skill set and availability.

West Auckland AFC is seeking expressions of interest for the U23 reserve coach role in 2023. 

The team will be competing in the NRFL Conference North U23 competition. 

The U23 coach will work closely with the first team to develop an environment with a great culture, that is competitive, challenging, and enjoyable. 

The ideal candidate will have or be working towards their NZF C-license, be organised, reliable and enthusiastic. The U23 coach role provides a great platform to learn and develop as a coach. West Auckland will support personal coach development opportunities.

Fencibles United FC is inviting expressions of interest to appoint a new Head Coach for our Women's 1st team. 

This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast growing club that values its people and has great facilities all backed by a DOF and Board who want to progress women’s, junior and youth girls football in East Auckland.

2022 has been a very exciting year for the club – 

  • We have been granted our Girls TDP accreditation. 
  • We re-established our Women’s 1st team and they played in the Championship league finishing 5th.
  • Our girls prem teams featured highly in the U14 and U16 girls premier leagues.

There is also opportunity to do additional coaching within our Prem Girls youth teams for the ideal applicant – we are flexible in our approach to coaching and we can adjust a timetable that suits the right candidate.

  • Min NZF C License (or overseas equivalent) (happy to assist in finishing off the practical if required)

Bream Bay Utd AFC (BBU) is looking for motivated, inspirational coaches for our senior men’s Reserve team for the 2023 season.

Based in the centre of Ruakaka, BBU is a growing club that attracted over 250 members in 2022. We have players from all age groups – from 4/5year olds through to half-centurions. BBU currently has 3 senior men’s teams and one senior women’s team, all of which play in the NRF Northland divisions. 

Men's Reserve Team Coach - 2023 
The Reserve Team coach will aim to build a competitive Reserve men’s side to support and supplement the First Team. The role also involves developing and improving the younger men’s players to support the wider club.

Ideal attributes

  • Experience as a coach (lead or assistant) in men’s football
  • Excellent communication and people skills 
  • A willingness to contribute to the environment and culture of BBU

LOTTO NRFL U23 Head Coach

Metro FC are seeking a dynamic and motivated Head Coach for our LOTTO NRFL U23 Team in 2023.

The coach will work closely with the First Team coaching staff and Metro FC/ACFC Sporting Director, Kris Bright to help develop the pathway between U23 and First Team football whilst creating a positive team culture and engaging environment.

This is a great opportunity to work within an environment supported by qualified and experienced coaches.

The successful candidate must hold a NZF C Licence, and be enthusiastic for the role. Metro FC encourages and supports coach development, and will support any further education opportunities within the NZF coaching pathway.

FIRST TEAM COACH - SENIOR WOMEN

North Shore United, New Zealand’s oldest football club, seeks an exceptional Women’s First Team Coach. This is an exciting opportunity to join a club keen to grow female football, from our junior through to senior grades and coaching team.

The Club has a strong policy of internal player development which we envisage will be reinforced by the recruitment of players with Senior experience.

THE ROLE

In 2022 we re-established our Women’s First and Reserves teams and we are keen to build on that foundation by fostering talent and attracting new players.

We are looking for a motivated coach that is passionate about growing female players and developing a competitive squad with a positive coaching environment. You will be responsible for recruiting, creating and coaching a successful Women's Senior Team, as well as working with the Football Development Manager to create a pathway from junior girls through to senior grades. You will be surrounded by a small group of support personnel who will work with you to achieve success. Any initial contract will be for a one year period although for the right applicant there would bean opportunity to negotiate an extension by mutual agreement.
