NZF LEARN

NZF Learn is an online learning platform that will be the home for Coach and Referee Education for football in Aotearoa New Zealand.

It provides online modules for coaches and referees that can be completed from the comfort of your own home, allowing you to learn about key concepts before bringing the learning to life on the field or court.​​​​​​​

REGISTER FOR A COURSE

The courses are for volunteers, coaches and referees who operate in football or futsal and includes incorporating goalkeepers into training for coaches.

We advise that you get started by finding the relevant community coaching or refereeing practical by clicking the links below. By registering for the practical module, you automatically get access to the online modules so you can prepare for the practical in the comfort of your own home.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

Alternatively, you can start with the online modules and, once completed, you can find a practical module that suits in order to complete the course. ​​​​​​​

Community Coaching Network

NRF’s Community Coaching Network supports coaches of all levels across our region through practical learning, peer connection, and shared experiences. By creating regular workshops and networking opportunities, the program aims to strengthen coaching confidence, grow capability, and build a connected coaching community. Registered coaches will receive early access to local events and ongoing development opportunities throughout the season.

Advanced Female Coaching Mentorship Program

NRF's Advanced Female Coaching Mentorship program strives to support female coaches at all levels across our region. Through tailored mentorship, we hope to support female coaches and increase the number of females actively coaching and achieving advanced coaching qualifications. Registered members will have access to a wide range of connection and development opportunities and be eligible for scholarships on further coach development courses. 

Education Course Calendar​​​​​​​

In the community space, the courses aim to support community coaches to grow and develop players. It is a fundamental part of developing our future stars in the game, as well as allowing coaches to continue to improve and evolve. Community coaching courses are delivered through our clubs and supported by their local federation.

Advanced coaching courses are delivered by New Zealand Football in conjunction with the local federation and are designed for coaches operating within talent development and competitive coaching environments.
