Two first vs second place battles took place over the weekend:
Ngaruawahia United 2 - East Coast Bays 0
In the LOTTO NRFL Men’s Championship Ngaruawahia United took three points at home, althought East Coast Bays stays on top of the league by a point.
Bucklands Beach 4 - Beachlands Maraetai 2
Bucklands Beach was also able to earn three points at home as they faced Beachlands Maraetai, taking them to the top of the LOTTO NRLF Men’s Northern Conference ladder.
Auckland United v West Coast Rangers, LOTTO NRFL Women’s Premiership
Auckland United picked up three key points in the LOTTO NRFL Women’s Premiership against West Coast Rangers, through a late 86th-minute goal from Penny Brill.
Papakura City vs Te Atatu 6-6 scoreline in the NRF league one
It’s not every day you see twelve goals in a game, that’s one every seven and a half minutes! Papakura City should be happy with the full-time result coming from three goals down at one point and scoring in the 90th minute to keep their league dreams alive.

A high-scoring game between Albany United and West Auckland saw Albany's Jack Beguely score a hat trick (88 '86' 20'), and three other players in the game grab a double. Bucklands Beach went to the top of the table after a win against Beachlands Maraetai.

Te Atatu looked to break away at the top of the table this weekend, and a quick flurry of goals seeing them lead Papakura by three at half-time nearly saw them achieve this. But to the luck of the rest of the league, the second half had more goals to come. A penalty from Argyle Morling in the 90th minute saw the game end 6-6.
