Congratulations to Western Springs who have made the final of the Kate Sheppard Cup after defeating Coastal Spirit 5-1 in extra time. Commiserations to Eastern Suburbs who fell 1-0 to Wellington United.

Auckland United's win on the weekend sees them go six points ahead of Eastern Suburbs on the LOTTO NRFL Women's Premiership table. A point from their last game of the season against Western Springs in two weeks will see them crowned champions.
West Coast Rangers secured a win which now puts pressure on Ellerslie to gain points next week in their game against Western Springs.

It was high scorelines this weekend in the LOTTO NRFL Women's Championship as three games featured seven goals. Results reflected the positions on the table with all teams higher ranked picking up wins.
With three games left for most, the final game of the season between Onehunga Sports and Fencibles United looks set to decide the winner of the completion.

Metro just got past Onehunga Mangere United this weekend as they look to keep up with a strong Birkenhead United. Who themselves gained three points overcoming Bay Olympic 4-1.

With the LOTTO NRFL Men's Championship taking a slight break to allow catchup games to be played, it gave the opportunity for East Coast Bays and Tauranga City to create a buffer between them and Mt Albert Ponsonby. Both teams took the chance with confidence and came away victorious with strong results.

Franklin United have taken a giant step towards being crowned LOTTO NRFL Men's Northern Conference champions this year. An undefeated Franklin United overcame West Auckland 2-1. Elsewhere fellow champion contenders Bucklands Beach fell to Oratia United 3-1, creating a five-point gap between both teams. 


Waikato Unicol and Cambridge both picked up expected wins this weekend.
Cambridge where helped to a 7-2 win through a hattrick from golden boot leader Joshua Clarkin.
Waikato Unicol had three different goal scorers in their 3-1 win against Taupo, Dominick Edwards (39'), Bailey Webster (56') and Aidan Robson (82').

Te Atatu's Jack Kelly's effort in the 26th minute helped his team pick up three key points this weekend. Now with the league in Te Atatu's hands, all they have to do is beat Uni-Mount Bohemian and Ranui Swanson to be crowned NRF League One champions.

Eastern Suburbs, one of the two leaders in the competition finally dropped points this weekend as they drew with Bay Olympic. This sets up Auckland City needing three wins from their last three games to win the Northern League. These games are against Hamilton Wanderers, Manurewa and Manukau United.
