Congratulations to Pukekohe AFC, who have officially become the second NRF club, and the first in South Auckland, to complete New Zealand Football’s Xero Together Stronger – Club Support Programme.
As a reward for their commitment to club development, Pukekohe AFC received a free AED (Automated External Defibrillator) from NZF, supporting safer environments for their members and community.
The Xero Together Stronger programme is designed to help clubs:
A special shoutout to club adminstrator Suzanne Ihaia who led the accreditation journey on behalf of the club, completing it in just two weeks.
“We saw it as a great opportunity to do a club health check—review our policies, see what’s up to date, and identify gaps,” said Suzanne. “The process was straightforward, especially thanks to strong club systems and great support from the NRF team.”
Completing the programme has already helped Pukekohe identify areas for future growth and has sparked conversations around long-term strategy. The process has given the team clarity and focus to bring their sustainability vision to life over the next few seasons.
“We'd absolutely recommend the programme to other clubs. It’s an excellent way to make sure you're across the key policies and procedures that set you up for success.”
