If you receive an email from registrations@nzfootball.co.nz:
Open the player’s registration in Sporty (Football Player Registration for the current year).
Try to Activate the registration. If Sporty prevents activation and sets the status to IntRequired, continue to step 3.
Go to the “International Clearance Requirements” section of their registration form.
For adult players (18+): upload a PDF copy of the passport (ID page), enter the country and club the player last registered to, select the correct ITC Type, add any notes, and click Submit.
After submitting, click the ‘+’ icon against the registration and select Ready for NZF Action.
For minor players (10–17): upload the required documents as per per the minor ITC requirements. Follow steps 4 and 5 above to complete the process and email competitions@nrf.org.nz for them to check and review before being actioned by NZF.
Monitor the status in Sporty until the registration is updated and can be made Active. Status meanings:
IntRequired = ITC required. Complete the International Clearance Requirements section and submit it to NZF.
IntEntered = details/documents have been entered. With NZF for processing.
IntPending = Lodged with FIFA/TMS and is awaiting an outcome.
