Here are some key tasks to help get you ready for youth and junior competitions for clubs, grade managers, team managers and coaches, so you can access fixtures, record line-ups and submit results on time.
Club administrators
You are responsible for:
- Assigning roles and permissions
- Making sure every team has someone ready to use the MyFootball Manager app for line ups and scoring
Get ready for game day
- Clubs are responsible for ensuring results are submitted promptly after each match
- Nominate a Match Day Admin per team: one person responsible for line-ups (if used) and result submission
- Before the weekend, make sure your teams’ match-day devices have the most recent version of the MyFootball Manager app installed and that the assigned volunteer can log in successfully
- Complete checks before KO this weekend; submit results as soon as practical after full-time (same day wherever possible)
- If they can’t submit, they contact your clubs Sporty administrator or Grade Coordinator immediately
- If you're using team access codes to assign this role on match day, double-check the codes for any potential ‘lookalikes’ e.g O vs 0 (zero). We recommend copying/pasting codes rather than re-typing!
Club administrators - copy / paste these instructions for your Match Day Admins / team managers
• Before match day: update the MyFootball Manager app to the latest version and log in to check you can see your team/fixture
• If using a team access code: Use Copy/Paste where possible, if entered manually look out for O vs 0 (zero)
• After full-time: submit the result as soon as practical (same day wherever possible). If you can’t submit, contact your club's Sporty admin immediately
• If something isn’t working, try closing/reopening the app and re-checking login and code, then contact your club Sporty admin immediately
