Korouch Monsef, Northern Region Football’s long-serving Head of Football Operations, is moving on to explore new challenges.
“Korouch has made a massive contribution to football and coaching – he’s played a key leadership role over more than a decade, lifting the standard of coaching and club development,” said NRF CEO Laura Menzies.
“NRF coaches and players will be benefit for years to come from the countless coach development sessions, and the way he generously shares his extensive football experience. He’ll leave a huge gap to fill.”
Korouch first joined Northern Football Federation in early 2016, and has contributed in a number of roles, making a huge positive difference in the talent development and club licencing programmes, and more recently overseeing all aspects of football operations, including competitions and refereeing.
"I've had the privilege of working alongside some exceptional people over many years. I'd like to thank everyone at Northern Region Football and NZ Football who have provided me with opportunities to grow, learn and develop. Its been extremely rewarding for me to see so many sports professionals and coaches reach their goals," said Korouch Monsef.
His work is strongly reflected in the ambitious targets and solid progress in all these areas in NRF’s strategy, and Korouch plans to continue contributing to football through his commitment to working with and developing coaches.
Korouch’s last day with NRF will be 28 November, with details on next steps for his role to follow.
