Onehunga Sports FC is preparing for an exciting 2026 season, and we’re looking for motivated coaches to join our junior and youth programmes. Our club has a long history of developing top talent, building confident young players, and creating a supportive football environment for families across our community.
As we continue to grow, we have a range of coaching positions available — from volunteer roles in our junior grades to paid roles within our Player Development Programme (PDP) and youth teams.
Who We’re Looking For
We’re seeking coaches who genuinely enjoy working with young players and want to contribute to a positive, club-first environment. Ideal candidates will bring:
- Enthusiasm for helping kids learn, improve, and enjoy football.
- Strong communication skills and a reliable, organised approach.
- The ability to work well with other coaches and contribute to a team culture.
- Openness to feedback, ongoing development, and new coaching ideas.
Preferred Experience (Not Essential)
- NZF C Licence (completed or in progress), or similar qualification.
- Background in youth development, coaching, analysis, or related fields.
