Sunshine, goals, and community spirit highlighted this year’s Northern Region Football Community Cup Finals Weekend in Auckland, celebrating the end of the season for teams across the region.

Across 28 finals in Auckland, clubs battled hard and enjoyed the chance to finish their season with a trophy. The weekend is one of NRF’s most popular events, bringing together players, referees, and supporters from every corner of the region.

Ellerslie FC’s Rebels took out the Carol Waller Cup, and Mt Albert Ponsonby Baggies took out the NRF Men's Federation Cup.

Northland held their Community Finals a week later, which saw the 50th year of the Stafford Choat Cup (Read more about the history here), of which Onerahi FC took out.

Thanks to G.J. Gardner Homes NZ, Harcourts Bluestone, and Lotto Sports NZ, who supported the event, helping make it a memorable celebration of local football.

From dramatic penalty shootouts to tight scorelines, the NRF Community Finals Weekend once again showcased the passion, camaraderie, and connection that make our game special.
